About the Speakers: 

Mike Regitz is an IP and Cyber Attorney at RegitzMauck, a boutique intellectual property firm that he co-founded with Dustin Mauck in 2015. Mike specializes in providing advice and handling disputes related to intellectual property, the internet, and technology. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), he extends his expertise to assisting clients with cybersecurity, data privacy, and cyber insurance coverage issues and disputes. Mike is registered to practice law in Texas, and several federal courts throughout the US. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, handling patent and trademark prosecution, including appeals and opposition proceedings.

Dustin Mauck, a partner at RegitzMauck PLLC, co-founded the firm with Mike Regitz in 2015. His practice primarily revolves around intellectual property, technology, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Dustin brings his experience in obtaining and enforcing patents and representing clients in diverse areas such as trademark, trade secret, copyright, contract, and domain name disputes. Like Mike, Dustin is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). This credential enables him to guide his clients through cybersecurity and data privacy issues, including data breach response, incident response plan preparation, and assessment of cybersecurity and data privacy risks and policies. Dustin's additional competencies include preparing patent and trademark applications, responding to office actions, drafting appeal briefs, and managing cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
